Crystal Reports Writing II Class

Return to Class List

Crystal Reports II is a 2-day class that teaches you how to move beyond the basics of building and modifying reports taught in Crystal Reports I.  This class is required for understanding how to use Crystal Report Writer to create complex reports and data sources using Crystal Reports’ tools.  In this course, you’ll not only learn how to create more sophisticated reports like subreports and cross-tabs, you’ll also learn how to increase the speed and efficiency of your reports by using SQL queries and dictionaries.  Our goal is to train you to be proficient with creating and modifying Dynamics SL reports using Crystal Reports, and to allow you the ability to provide maximum benefit and value to your organization.

By actively participating, you should learn to:

  • Create running totals in a report.
  • Build cross-tabs in your report.
  • Add Subreports to a report.
  • Design a report that uses a drill-down.
  • Understand Report Information Parameters (RIPARAMs).
  • Improve processing speed in your reports.
  • Chart single and multiple data series.
