This class is designed to provide you with knowledge on how the Dynamics SL transactions work within inventory business processes. Learn to effectively use basic features of Inventory including setup, receipt transactions, kits, transfers, issues, and adjustments.  Sites, unit conversions, material types, inventory items, and other maintenance data screens are also discussed. You will get experience with receipt transactions, kits, transfers, issues, and adjustments. Inquiry screens and reports are presented to help you find information in the inventory system. You will also learn how Inventory interacts with other Dynamics SL modules.

By actively participating, you should learn:

 

  • How Inventory module transactions interact with inventory business processes.
  • The process to enter receipt, issue, kit assembly, adjustment, or transfer transactions.
  • To use inquiry screens and reports to extract appropriate information for their inventory business processes.
  • How to create and assemble kits.
  • To perform physical inventories and record the results of the physical inventory.
  • The process to close the inventory module.
